Reasonably spacious units with a very comfortable bed. the garden was lovely. - the staff were very friendly. - Really enjoyed the original decor. - the property's location was unbeatable and particularly good, right in the center of Ghent.

Came here for 2 days, the hotel was absolutely fabulous, it had magnificent location not far from the Cathedral, the centre of beautiful Ghent, and Brussels. The staff was welcoming and kind and delivered excellent service. Got king room with a very comfortable bed massive bath when arrived, enjoyed that.
Couldn't stay longer.

I got great value for my money at The Verhaegen. The room was spacious and nicely decorated, with a huge comfortable bed and a 2 person shower. The location was perfect, just a 5 minute walk to the main square. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my 3 day stay.
The breakfast offerings could be improved by utilizing the beautiful garden more.

I was really excited to visit Gravensteen during my stay in Ghent, and I chose B&B The Verhaegen solely because of its convenient location. However, the free WiFi throughout the property pleasantly surprised me. It was great to be able to stay connected and share my travel experiences with ease. Moreover, I absolutely loved enjoying a delicious cup of coffee in the beautiful French box garden.
Just a minor drawback: bathroom with only a bathtub-no shower.

Finally found a place where I could feel like royalty with their stunning garden, warm service, and luxurious interior. Plus, it's conveniently located near the famous Graslei and easy to explore nearby cities.
Showering was quite the adventure with a high step and a surprise rain shower. Brrr, how refreshing!

Beautifully decorated private house with outstanding luxury and attention to detail. Magical garden and good quality wines in the mini bar. The hosts were kind, thoughtful, and helpful. Exceptional property in a quiet area, yet still close to the town. Secure parking available.
